Today's Hike on the Mass Central Rail Trail

Updated: Feb 15, 2023

Today, I hiked a nine-mile stretch of the Mass Central Rail Trail in West Boylston and Holden. The sun was shining, making for a beautiful day on the trail. The trail was muddy and icy in some places, adding to the adventure. The Mass Central Rail Trail is a peaceful and well-maintained trail surrounded by nature. The trail meanders through quiet residential areas, parks, and forests, providing easy access to local amenities. Along the trail, I had the opportunity to see the remains of Springdale Mills, which added to the historic charm and character of the trail. The trail is popular for walking, hiking, and biking, and it provides a peaceful escape from city life. By the end of my hike, I felt refreshed and energized, surrounded by the beauty of nature. The Mass Central Rail Trail is a hidden gem in Massachusetts, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique outdoor experience.
